Booster Club

The Husky Men's Lacrosse Boosters is an organization of team parents, UW alumni and lacrosse fans dedicated to supporting the Husky Men's Lacrosse Program at the University of Washington. The Booster Club was organized during the Huskies 2010 season and supports the Lacrosse Program in several ways.

First and foremost, we strive to boost the awareness of UW Lacrosse within the Washington lacrosse community, especially at the high school level and seek to introduce prospective students to the Husky Lacrosse program through email campaigns, social events, and game attendance.

We assist in fund raising for the team by selling UW Lacrosse apparel and snacks at home games. The Boosters also assist in running home games with members volunteering for field set up, scorekeeping and time keeping, managing team and player statistics, and field clean up.

We send out email updates of game results during the season to all Booster Club members, so that even parents that aren't local can follow the team.

Membership in the Booster Club is open to all current and former team parents, alumni players, and anyone interested in supporting Husky Lacrosse. Membership dues are $60.00 per season, but additional donations are always welcome. The Booster Club is coordinated by Leonard Ruff in Seattle, the parent of a former Husky defensive player. You can reach Leonard at: uwlaxfans@gmail.com to find out more information regarding the club, membership, and how you can help promote the sport of lacrosse at UW.
